Terms of Use for Kanamori Industries Co., Ltd.

  1. Introduction These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the matters to be observed when using the services provided by Kanamori Industries Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and the rights and obligations between the Company and registered users and users. Please read the entire Terms before using the services and agree to them.
  2. Application of These Terms These Terms aim to define the matters to be observed when using the services and the rights and obligations between the Company and registered users and users regarding the use of the services. These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and registered users and users regarding the use of the services.
  3. Rules Related to the Use of Services The rules related to the use of the services posted by the Company on this site constitute a part of these Terms.
  4. Definitions The following terms used in these Terms have the meanings set forth below:
    • "Intellectual Property Rights" means copyrights, patent rights, utility model rights, design rights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights (including the right to acquire such rights or apply for registration of such rights).
    • "The Company" means Kanamori Industries Co., Ltd. (1-4-1 Showa-cho, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture).
    • "Registered User" means an individual or corporation that has entered into a service use contract with the Company based on Article 3.
    • "User" means all individuals and corporations who access this website, including registered users and individuals and corporations who browse this site without entering into a service use contract.
    • "Applicant" means an individual or corporation who wishes to enter into a service use contract.
    • "Services" means the services provided by the Company under the name "PlaBase," which provides information on plastic molding materials (including any changes to the name or content of the services for any reason).
    • "This Site" means the website operated by the Company with the domain "plabase.com" (including any changes to the domain or content of the website for any reason).
    • "Data Provider" means an individual or corporation that provides information on plastic molding materials, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Information, etc.") posted on this site.
  5. Registration for Services Applicants can apply for the use of the services by agreeing to comply with these Terms and providing certain information (hereinafter referred to as "Registration Information") in the manner prescribed by the Company. The Company will determine whether to approve the registration of the applicant based on its criteria and notify the applicant if the registration is approved. The registration as a registered user is completed when the Company sends this notification.
  6. Management of Registered User Accounts Registered users are responsible for appropriately managing and storing their passwords and user IDs related to the services at their own risk and must not allow thirdparties to use, lend, transfer, change the name, or sell them. The Company is not responsible for any damage caused by insufficient management, misuse, or use by third parties of passwords and user IDs.
  7. Prohibited Acts Registered users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the services
    • Acts that violate laws or are related to crimes.
    • Acts of fraud, threats, or other criminal acts against the Company, other users of the services, or third parties.
    • Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, honor, or other rights or interests of the Company, other users of the services, or third parties.
    • Acts that send information containing excessively violent or cruel expressions, computer viruses, or other harmful computer programs, or information that damages the honor or credibility of the Company, other users of the services, or third parties.
    • Acts that impose an excessive load on the network or system of services.
    • Acts that interfere with the operation of the services.
    • Unauthorized access to the network or system of the Company or attempts to do so.
    • Acts of impersonating third parties.
    • Acts of collecting information of other users of the services.
    • Acts that provide benefits to anti-social forces.
    • Other acts that the Company deems inappropriate.
  8. Suspension and Termination of Services The Company may suspend or terminate the services in whole or in part due to natural disasters, fires, power outages, or other emergencies, wars, riots, labor disputes, legal measures, urgent maintenance, or other reasons deemed necessary by the Company. The Company is not responsible for anydamages caused to registered users due to such measures.
  9. Intellectual Property Rights All intellectual property rights related to the Company's website and services belong to the Company or data providers. The use of the services under these Terms does not imply the transfer of any intellectual property rights related to the website orservices to users or registered users.
  10. Confidentiality Registered users must keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the Company in connection with the services, except with the prior written consent of the Company or as required by law or judicial or administrative requests.
  11. Handling of User Information The handling of user information provided by registered users to the Company is governed by the Company's privacy policy. Registered users agree that the Company may use and disclose statistical information that does not identifyindividuals at its discretion.
  12. Changes to These Terms The Company may change these Terms at its discretion. If the Company changes these Terms, it will notify registered users of the changes. If registered users continue to use the services or do not cancel their registration within 14 days after the notification, they are deemed to have agreed to the changes.
  13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and the service use contract are governed by the laws of Japan. The Toyama District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the service use contract.
  14. Miscellaneous
    • These Terms are written in Japanese, and the Japanese text prevails in case of any discrepancies between the translated and Japanese texts.
    • These Terms were established on November 23, 2016, revised on September 15, 2017, and further revised on September 1, 2025.
